Seniors, if you have concurrent college or Independent Study credits that have been pre-approved for submission on your transcript, please get them to the Registrar's Office by Friday March 25. We will be updating GPA's and deciding the Top 10%.

Sanctuary Forest Scholarship Applications Are Here

Sanctuary Forest, Inc. is offering three $1,000 scholarships to college-bound graduates in the class of 2011. These scholarships are targeted towards students who have a demonstrated interest in the environment and are due May 2, 2011.

Qualifying process:

Demonstrated an active interest in the environment through school projects, summer work in environmental-related activities or long-term personal interest reflected in school, community/outdoor activities, artwork, field notebooks or writing. Application requires an essay outlining your personal history of involvement with environmental issues and plans/hopes for future involvement/employment in environmentally related activities.
Copy of high school transcript reflecting good to excellent grades
Accepted to a two or four year college
Recommendation by Principal, Teacher, Counselor or other staff member-printed on school letterhead
Current Photo
Application must be reviewed and signed by your Counselor or Principal.

College Prep Scholarship for Juniors!!!

QuestBridge's College Prep Scholarship provides awards that equip high-achieving low-income students to compete for admission to leading colleges.

If you are a high school junior who has a strong academic record and an annual household income of less than $60,000, you are encouraged to apply. Many past recipients have also been the first generation in their family to go to college!

Scholarship Awards can include:

Full scholarships to summer school programs at Emory, Harvard, Stanford, Notre Dame, Penn or Yale (10 awarded)
