Application Window for CSU is October 1-November 30, 2012

If you are planning to attend any of the CSU schools, now is the time to apply! This week the counselors have been working with the seniors in the Navi Lab to get them ready and started on their college applications. You can do this online by going to CSUMentor and get started. If you have any questions or need any help with this process, stop by during lunch and they will be able to help you. You can also fill out a request to see counselor form and they will call you in.

PLEASE NOTE THIS INFORMATION REGARDING ADMISSIONS!!

Important Notice

Fall 2013 Term: The priority application filing period for fall 2013 is October 1, 2012 through November 30, 2012. All CSU campuses will accept applications for admission during this period.

CSU campuses will hold all applications until the end of this initial application filing period on November 30, 2012. The reason for this action is because there is a measure on the November ballot (Proposition 30) which requires voters to decide whether to provide additional funding to help the state address the ongoing structural deficit. If Proposition 30 is not approved, the CSU budget will be cut an additional $250 million.

Enrollment capacity on the CSU campuses is necessarily tied to the amount of available state funding. Therefore, if Proposition 30 is not approved, the CSU will have to admit fewer students. Admission decisions are therefore being postponed; students will begin to receive admission notices after the application deadline of November 30, 2012.

Have Your SAT Scores Sent to All CSU Schools at One Time

Great news! You can now have your SAT scores available for all the CSU campuses instead of paying $10.00 each to send them individually!

You can now list CSUMentor as an SAT score recipient and that will make your scores available for any CSU where you’ve applied. You simply use the CSUMentor as an institution. The institution code for CSUMentor is 3594. CSUMentor will then store your scores for ALL CSU campuses to utilize.

If you have not yet sent your scores to either a CSU campus or CSUMentor, you can request this at:
