Tim Brownlow Scholarship Due Thursday April 19, 2012

Deadline: Thursday April 19, 2012

You still have today and tomorrow until 3:30 pm to get this application completed. There is still  plenty of time and we don't have a lot of entries yet! Don't let this one get away!

Applications are now available for the Tim Brownlow Memorial Scholarship in the counseling office. This award is $500.

Eligibility:
·   Demonstrate a strong commitment to your education
·   At least 2 years involvement in Sports
·   Minimum GPA of 2.5
·   Community service hours- will be weighed heavily in the selection process
·   Must enroll and attend as a full-time student an accredited community college, 4-year college or university, vocational/career technical, or foreign exchange program.

What to submit:
·   Application
·   Current official high school transcript (not sealed in envelope)
·   two letters of recommendation from teachers, community service supervisor, or employers
·   Personal statement about  yourself including family background, interests, education and career goals; financial need and employment history (if any)
·   Discuss your most rewarding experience in sports that has left an impact on you (300 words or less)
