Chico Preview Day Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm.

Are you thinking of attending Chico State University? Chico State Preview Day is a stellar opportunity to go and see what Chico State and the city of Chico is like. 

There will be a full day of activities starting at 9:30 am with the welcome from the University President. You can attend an information fair, campus tours, scholarship workshops, trolley tour of the city, tour residence halls and meet with current students and student support representatives from various campus services including EOP, Student Health Service, Athletics, Student Activities, Advising and Career Placement. And it’s all free!

It's August! Are You Ready/

We hope you are enjoying your summer and spending time with family and friends.

Just in case you are ready to start studying for that first SAT test on October 6, 2012 (registration deadline September 7, 2012) here is a link to the SAT website. They have practice questions, sample tests and a list of dates for the first two SAT tests of the year. They will post more as  they are finalized. Even if you aren't planning to take one of the first two tests, this is a great website to get yourself prepared and to know what to expect from the test and testing day. Registration is done online at the following link as well.

Summer School Information

Schedules for Summer School will be posted outside the main office on the first day of Summer School, July 2nd. Students who received letters should turn in your registration to the Counseling Office by Thursday June 14.

If you have any questions, stop by and ask your counselor.

Important Information for Redwood Days Attendees

For students registered to attend the May 16, 2012 field trip, here is some important information you need to know for that day.

You MUST have turned in your permission slip to the counseling office or you will not be able to attend.

Things you will need to have to take with you to CR:

• Your CR ID number
• A lunch as there will be no food available for sale
• If you have an IEP or 504 Plan you will need to take a copy of that and your DSPS form

 Bring all of these things with you and meet in front of the cafeteria at 8:15 sharp on Wednesday, May 16th.

Important 2012-1013 Registration Information for Parents!

Over the past week EHS students have been registering online for their 2012-2013 classes.  You can access the list of your student’s course requests by logging onto Powerschool and clicking the class registration icon along the top of the screen. Be sure to choose "view course requests" in order to see a complete list of courses. 

Full course descriptions are available by viewing the course catalog on the Eureka High School website under the Counseling Office tab. The very bottom link will take you to the course catalog. You can also access it from this link:  Eureka City Schools

You and your student may make changes to these requests by coming to one of the counseling sessions in the Navi Lab located in Room 105 in the Main Building on the following dates: Thursday, April 26 from 3:30 to 4:30pm and Monday, April 30 from 330-430pm.
