CR Spring Schedule Now Open

CR Spring Schedule is now open and available for viewing. To take a look at what is being offered this spring, go to www.redwoods.edu and click on "webadvisor" at the top of the page.

 

Registration begins Monday November 5, 2012 and classes begin January 12, 2013.

CR Summer Orientation Schedule

Remember, you have to have applied to College of the Redwoods and taken the English and math assessments before you are eligible for Orientation and registration. If you haven't taken the assessments, click on the link below to get dates and information for taking them.

Deadline: Postmarked no later than April 30, 2012

American Business Women’s Association Farthest West Chapter 2012 Scholarship

Requirements:

• Have been a resident of Humboldt County for the past year
• Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Attending Humboldt State University or College of the Redwoods

Criteria:

• Pursuing a professional career
• Scholastic Standing
• Ability to express potential and planning to achieve educational goal

What to submit:

1. Completed application
2. One page personal biography and goal statement
3. Current high school transcript
4. No more than three (3)  letters of character (reference letters)

Coast Central Credit Union Scholarship

Deadline: March 16, 2012

Are you planning on going to CR, Humboldt State, Shasta Community College or Chico State University? Then this scholarship might be for you!

A total of thirteen scholarships may be awarded to qualified applicants , based on their academic record. Serious consideration will be given to those students who have demonstrated a commitment to education, either through outstanding academic performance OR through consistent improvement as well as financial need. These scholarships have a potential value of $4,000 over the course of four years!

Qualifications:

• Graduating senior from a high school in Humboldt, Del Norte or Trinity county
• Must apply and be accepted to College of the Redwoods, Humboldt State University, Shasta Community College or Chico State University as a full-time student for the fall semester (12 units or more)
• Must have a high school grade average of "C" or better
