February Scholarships!

Scholarships with deadlines in February:

Due February 1, 2011: Soroptimist International Distinguished Youth Scholarship: This award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions made by young people to home, school, community, country and the world! Applications available here and in the scholarship box.

Due February 1, 2011: 2011 Beverage Industry College Scholarship Program:  For seniors with a parent or grandparent employed full time in the liquor/beer/wine industry including hotels, restaurants, wholesale/retail grocers, drug stores, breweries etc. On line applications only here.

February 7, 2011: eQuality Scholarship Collaborative offers a scholarship to recognize service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community For more information and applications click here.

February 9, 2011: KFC Scholars Scholarship Program. On line application and information can be found here.

February 28, 2011: PG&E Scholarship Programs. PG&E has several scholarships available suited for a wide variety of students. Information and application can be found here

February 28, 2011: Humboldt County Legal Professionals Association has several scholarships opportunities. Applications are available in the Counseling office scholarship box.

February 28, 2011; American Institute of Architects Redwood Empire Scholarship Fund. For students interested in pursuing a degree in architecture. The online application provides a step-by-step list of what you need to apply. Apply here

This is NOT a scholarship but an internship offered through the Arthritis Foundation. This internship runs from June 13-August 5, 2011 and are located on the Stanford or UCSFcampuses. This is a hands on research opportunity for those interested in doing research. There are scholarships available so apply soon. Application and information available here
