First Scholarship of the year!

The Good Tidings Foundation is offering twenty $5,000 scholarships based on community service.

This application is due November 7, 2011 and the applications are available in the counseling office. You will need to mail in the following:

• Application form
• A single-sided, two page double-spaced essay describing your unique community service activities. It is recommended that you list all of your community service on the application and then focus on one project in your essay. Discuss any of the following subjects: What made you choose/create this project? How did you help the community: How many people were affected by your work? Why is community service important to you? What have you learned or gained from this work and do you plan to continue in the future?
• A one-page letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or Charity Director.

Mail the above documents by November 7, 2011 to:

Winners will be notified by phone between November 18-42, 2011. Winners will be honored at the Annual Awards Dinner on Sunday, December 4, 2011.
