The Elks National Foundation’s Most Valuable Student Scholarships award scholarships from $4,000 up to $60,000!
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2013 competition.
- Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.
- Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.
- College students are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
- Male and female students compete separately.
Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
What to Submit:
1. Completed application typed or neatly printed in pen, three-hole punched and in a folder (there are directions on the application for this)
2. Essay, signed and dated
3. Official transcript through 7th semester
4. SAT/ACT scores (should be on your transcript)
5. Counselor Report in a sealed envelope
6. Copies of Exhibits, double sided are fine
Be sure to READ THE APPLICATION DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY! They are very specific and need to be followed precisely.
Applications are available in the Counseling Office in the Scholarship Box.
This application must be dropped off at the Elks Lodge no later than December 7, 2012
