Ø Colleges and employers will communicate with you through e-mail. Make sure you have a valid e-mail address and check regularly!!
Ø Miss a deadline you are out – no discussion!!

Ø If you: HAVE ATTENDED ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE, HAVE/ARE MAKING UP A “D” GRADE, OR ARE APPLYING FOR A FEE WAIVER PLEASE CHECK WITH COUNSELING FOR TIPS ON HOW TO FILL OUT COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
FINANCIAL AID
Ø Free Application for Federal Student Aid - Request FAFSA Personal Identification Number (PIN) number online at www.pin.ed.gov before filing the FAFSA. Parents need to request their own PIN number as well.
Ø FAFSA online application process at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Complete the worksheet on the web. Deadline to submit FAFSA for Cal Grants is March 2.
Ø Make sure you have turned in Cal Grant Verification form with your SS#. EHS will send it in.
Ø If using the Common Application to apply to private colleges you will submit the CSS-Profile to apply for financial aid and submit mid year transcript
Ø Final lab times for assistance with FAFSA for parents/students:
o February 13; 2:15 – 4:30
o February 28; 1:30 – 4:30
