April Scholarships

April is a busy time for submitting applications for scholarships. Here are a few that are due April 1, 2011:

• Humboldt County Farm Bureau Scholarships: The Humboldt County Farm Bureau administers four scholarships and you only need one application to apply for all of them. Come in to the counseling office to pick up an application today. These scholarships are for students looking to study Agriculture, Forestry and their related fields.
• California Women in Timber North Coast Chapter 2011 Memorial Scholarships: The North Coast Chapter of California Women in Timber is offering several scholarships to students who are pursuing a career in the forest products industry OR have immediate family in the forest products industry. Criteria for this scholarship are, minimum GPA of 2.5, attended a Humboldt or Del Norte county high school. Students pursuing a career in natural resources or forestry and wholes family are or were employed in the forest products industry will be given special consideration. Come into the Counseling Office today and pick up your application.
