Sanctuary Forest Scholarship Applications Are Here

Sanctuary Forest, Inc. is offering three $1,000 scholarships to college-bound graduates in the class of 2011. These scholarships are targeted towards students who have a demonstrated interest in the environment and are due May 2, 2011.

Qualifying process:

• Demonstrated an active interest in the environment through school projects, summer work in environmental-related activities or long-term personal interest reflected in school, community/outdoor activities, artwork, field notebooks or writing. Application requires an essay outlining your personal history of involvement with environmental issues and plans/hopes for future involvement/employment in environmentally related activities.
• Copy of high school transcript reflecting good to excellent grades
• Accepted to a two or four year college
• Recommendation by Principal, Teacher, Counselor or other staff member-printed on school letterhead
• Current Photo
• Application must be reviewed and signed by your Counselor or Principal.
