Procedures for Schedule Changes

Tentative schedules should be arriving in your mail box soon.

If you have questions or concerns or need to change a class (for academic reasons) you will need to email your counselor. Emailed requests are the only way change requests are being  handled this year so be sure to email your counselor.

As stated on your schedule, if you do not have access to a computer or the Internet, the Navi Lab is available between 10:00 am and 12:00 Monday and Wednesday. Please feel free to come and use our lab during those hours. There is also free Internet and computers available for use in the public library if that is easier to access for you.

The counselors will not be available for drop in or walk in appointments as they will be busy with the priority email change requests. To email your counselor:

H-O Delores Haskamp: haskampd@eurekacityschools.org
P-Z Audra Gosvener: gosvenera@eurekacityschools.org

  1. The process to request a schedule change is appropriate when all students have access to internet service. The cost of a laptop today is less than 400.00 perhaps ECS might consider a grant for student laptops. What is that roughly 750k for your current enrollment. Let's not forget the population we are serving. A large number of families are living below the federal povertly level and can not afford access to the internet let alone a computor. How is this process measured for success? Really.

  2. We are very lucky to have the Navi computer lab here on campus so students have access to computers and internet to make these changes! Since this is a new process for us, the information about the Navi lab being open is on the bottom portion of student schedules. This has so far been very successful and we are happy that students are able to enjoy their last week of summer as they choose instead of having to possibly endure long wait times in the office.
