“Drive 2 Stay Alive” Project Directors Nick Lewis and Jaylea Cutter-Falk of Eureka High School would like to THANK all of those who have supported the student-led effort to create the Drive 2 Stay Alive project and those who came out for the check presentation on Friday. This grant will provide the funds needed to create a network of schools and agencies working to better educate the young drivers of Humboldt County. Partner schools involved in this project will include Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna, Ferndale, McKinleyville and St. Bernards high schools. The support of State Farm Insurance, Humboldt County Health and Human Services, EPD, EFD, CHP, FPD, Eureka City Council, Humboldt County Board of Supervisors, and the educators and administrators at partner schools throughout Humboldt County will be instrumental in creating a program that will serve as a model for others around the nation. Together we can make our roads safer for all our young drivers in Humboldt County.
