Wendy’s High School Heisman Program Due OCTOBER 2, 2011!

Wendy’s High School Heisman

The Wendy’s Heisman award honors both male and female high school students who excel in academics, athletics and student leadership.

”The Wendy’s High School Heisman Program is all about academic and athletic achievement—what you’ve already accomplished. And what’s still to come. Our goal is to help every student reach his or her full potential by recognizing excellence and opening the door to new opportunities to succeed.”

Eligibility Criteria:

To achieve award eligibility for the 2011 Wendy’s High School Heisman Program, students must be seniors during the 2011/2012 academic years, graduating with the class of 2012.

Applicants must:

Learn:
Have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of a B (3.0) or better.


Perform:
Participate in at least one of 27 eligible school-sponsored sports. (see website for list of sports)


Lead:
Be a leader in school and in the community and serve as a role model for underclassman.

What they are looking for:

Students who apply will be judged based on their academic achievements, athletic accomplishments, community-leadership, and involvement in various extracurricular activities during grades 9 through 11.
