Applications for the $500 dollar Ginny Wythe Memorial Scholarship are now available in the counseling office.
You are eligible for this scholarship if you have benefited from academing tutoring or mentoring through the After School Tutoring Center, AmeriCorps or the Odyssey Program here at EHS.
Criteria:
- Benefited from academic tutoring/mentoring through the After School Tutoring Center, AmeriCorp or the Odyssey Program at EHS
- Plan to attend an accredited college or vocational/technical trade school after graduation
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Demonstrated an overall improvement academically during your high school years.
- Financial need is a factor.
What you need to turn in:
- Completed application
- One letter of recommendation from a teach or counselor that knows you well
- Current High School Transcript
- A personal essay describing how you have benefited from tutoring/mentoring here at EHS; any obstacles or hardships you have overcome in life; and your educational and career plans (Academic or vocational)
