Deadline for Registration May 2, 2011
American Indian Summer Institute is a FREE 5-day residential program for American Indian sophomore/junior level students who intend to go to a college or university. The program will be held June 26-30, 2011 at CSU Sacramento and will include the following:
- Team building
- Native leadership
- Applying for college, transcript review and eligibility requirements
- Academic and career planning
- Learning style assessment
- Exposure to Native students and faculty fro various colleges and universities
- Cultural excursions, cultural workshops and experiences with tribal leaders
