Italian Catholic Federation Scholarships Due March 15, 2011

Application deadline: Must be received no later than March 15, 2011
The Italian Catholic Federation is offering local and state level scholarships. This is a $400 first year scholarship. Recipients of I.C.F. scholarship will automatically become eligible to receive an advanced scholarship application upon completing their 1st year and so on.

Criteria for for this scholarship include students who are Baptized Roman Catholic and of Italian descent or whose non-Italian Roman Catholic parents, guardians or grandparents are members of the Italian Catholic Federation; achieve a total cumulative (3-1/2 years) GPA of at least 3.2 and who live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of California, Nevada, Illinois and Arizona where Branches of the Federation are established.

Applications will be judged and evaluated on:

• Scholastic Achievement-Total Cumulative GPA (3 1/2 years) and Class Rank
• Financial need
• Leadership role
• Faculty recommendation and character reference
• Extracurricular activities and charitable efforts
• Family Membership/Activities in the Italian Catholic Federation

You will need to have your high school transcript, a letter of recommendation from a school official and a personal letter of approximately 150 words about the stated topic.
