The Humboldt Harmonaires Barbershop Chorus is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified Humboldt County high school senior! The deadline for this scholarship will be March 15, 2011.
This scholarship is based on talent and need and for students who will continue their education in the music field. Preference will be given to students who plan to attend College of the Redwoods or HSU.
Applicants are requested to send an autobiographical essay describing their musical interests and accomplishments whether vocal or instrumental. You will also need a letter of recommendation..
If you are interested, please come in and pick up the information packet from the counseling office Scholarship box. This is a great opportunity for those students who will be pursuing furthering their music education.
