New Music Scholarship

Scotia Band is once again offering the Sewell Lufkin Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship must be received before April 29, 2011. This is a $500 scholarship.

Scholarship criteria:

• Humboldt County High School Graduate
• Studying music at an accredited college or university
• Be of good moral character
• Complete the Official Sewell Lufkin Memorial Scholarship Application Form. List musical achievements should include names of groups you have participated in, awards received etc. The letter of recommendation should be signed and addressed to "Scotia Band Scholarship Committee"
• Intend to pursue a career in music upon graduating from college

Preference for Fortuna High School and participants in the Scotia Band may be given.
The deadline of April 29, 2011 is ABSOLUTE. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
