Finalizing Admission to Humboldt State

Only One Test Date Remaining for HSU
Test Date: May 5, 2012      Registration Deadline: April, 20, 2012
Student Scores available online or mailed May 28, 2012

To sign up for the English and math placement tests students should go to this site:
http://www.ets.org/csu/test_administration/registration. If you are not certain you are required to take the  exams, call HSU’s Office of Admissions and we can  help you through it. If the CSU has the EAP or SAT/ACT test scores, then you will see that when you register for the test. If you are otherwise exempt, you will not even be allowed to register. For SAT tests: if you score a 500 verbal or 550 math score, you are exempt. For the ACT if you receive a 22 in English or a 23 in Math, you are exempt.

Finalize Admission: Students must confirm their enrollment at HSU ate their Student Center by
May 1, 2012. After graduation, official high school transcripts must be sent to the Admissions Office no later than July 16, 2012

Spring Preview-April 13-14, 2012: Spring Preview is the annual open house where you can sit in on a class, learn about HSU’s programs and meet personally with faculty. For information and to register: Spring Preview

Registration and Orientation: This year, all incoming Freshman will register electronically for their first semester at HSU from June 11-29, 2012. There will be a “support lab” scheduled at HSU for students needing help. All Freshman must sign up for Orientation (HOP) prior to June 3, 2012 at their Student Center. Orientation (HOP) will take place August 16, 2012, more details to come!

Please note, you can test at the CSU campus most convenient to you. You do not have to test at the campus you plan on attending
