A to Z Eye Care in Arcata is offering two $500 scholarships for graduating seniors from Humboldt County High Schools who are planning to further their education in a health care related field. Students must be entering college, vocational school as a full time student in the Fall of 2012 with a major in the health care related field.
Eligibility for these scholarships will be based on financial need and minimum GPA of 3.0
Applicants will be judged in an essay contest by answering the following questions:
- What health care field will you be studying?
- Why did you choose this field?
- What goals do you hope to achieve?
- How will this scholarship help you to achieve your goals?
Applications are available in the Counseling Office.
Mail your essay and a copy of your high school transcripts postmarked by April 20, 2012 to this address:
